About the Author

Brian Heeringa MD FACS, RPhs is a Board-Certified General Surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He is widely regarded as one of America's top vein specialists, treating patients from all over America and southern Canada at his vein clinics in Traverse City and Cadillac, Northern Michigan. Dr. Heeringa is married with their two sons, and in his free time, he enjoys running, cycling and classic cars.
